Here is how to change the most used Word default options. Click the Font dialog box launcher button, located in the bottom-right corner of the Font group. Click the Set As Default button in the bottom-left corner of the Font dialog box.

If you want to save your documents to a particular location on your computer, such as your documents, desktop, downloads or folder location, this is how to change the default setting. Go to the Default local file location section and click Browse. Once clicking browse, you can pick your file save destination. Click OK to save. Click the Advanced tab, scroll down to Cut, copy and paste. You will see the settings on the right, which are set to the default settings.

You can click inside these dropdowns to choose the settings you prefer. Click OK at the bottom of the page when you are finished. Click the Proofing tab. You will see spelling and grammar options. There are a lot of settings in this section you can customize. Be sure to explore them all, many of these options can help you save time during your workday. Follow the same steps to switch from a Local account to a Microsoft account using the correct credentials.

Tom Grover. So I installed Windows 10 onto my PC last night. However, it is using my mothers Microsoft Account as the default account Is there a way to completely change the default account to my current one?

I have tried tinkering with new accounts and giving them admin rights but I still want my mums account completely gone from my system so I can sign in with only my account visible?
