Setup cannot find the end user licensing agreement fix

I followed insructions from the net to make the CD from the I folder on my C drive, although the actual recovery part is on my D drive. It is annoying, but I wonder if using the folder from the D drive might be the way to go as the EULA may be missing from the I folder on the C drive. Has anybody got any ideas?

My slipstreamed disk has the XP Eula eula. Cab folder. Have checked and EULA. So it looks like a dead end, unless it is possible to get this EULA from another source. Thanks for the quick replies CCT, however that particular folder does not exist on my installation.

Sorry I should maybe have listed my computers details which are as follows Compaq Presario, XP Home SP2 as previously stated all recovery software is on the D partition and locked so I have no access to it. This site is completely free -- paid for by advertisers and donations.

Welcome to our community! Easy eh? Well yes, you might think so. I have been trying to install XP by running the setup from the setup files which I copied over to the HD from a CD using another system. The problem is that I keep getting this error once the XP setup has ran through a basic file copy, rebooted and I attempt to start a fresh Windows XP installation. A plus factor is that I have a floppy drive that works occasionally. Setup will not continue.

I have thought about dismantling the Dell Inspiron and fudging another drive in there as a temporary measure, but my experience of laptop deconstruction has been destructive, so I would rather not. Does anyone have any idea how to by-pass this error?
